Weather… ouch.
Allie and I decided to end our self imposed drinking ban, and not a moment too soon. 33.5 degrees celcius this afternoon, 35% humidity, thunderstorms on the way, and Coopers Pale Ale at $10.99 for six.
Arrr…. will be a quiet night of the Sopranos and Calvin tonight.
woot! drinking again! haha.
how good’s the southerly change?
love it.

It is indeed good. I’m thinking of going for a bike ride.

Pretty cold in Bathurst this morning.
My hands were blue for the first 20 minutes of my walk.
Was the not drinking a Lent-imposed discipline?
The only thing I’ve ever given up for Lent was washing up.
[But I am reading John through in Greek with a few internet buddies. I think I prefer to do stuff as a spiritual discipline rather than not do stuff.]

Nah, we gave up drinking because we were pretty worried that a group of friends from church were really not taking it seriously enough. We thought that by giving it up altogether it would give other people a better idea of how seriously Christians should take drunkenness.
Also, my wife is a complete tee-totaller, but don’t tell anybody I told you.
Also also, it is all of a sudden very cold here too. I prefer it cold though.
