Hey Amie. The discussion itself wasn’t so much as to whether or not infant or believers’ baptism is Biblical, but whether or not there is historical, viable precedent for either side of the debate to call the other side “sinners”.
R. Scott Clark was making the point mainly that because the historic reformed tradition (found in the Confessions and Catechisms) has claimed that historic Baptists are sinners, it is viable for Dever (a Baptist) to do the opposite.
I’ll start a new post with information about the Biblical issues surrounding the disagreement sometime today.
